課程概述 |
今日我們習稱「拉丁美洲」的區域，是歐洲國家於十五世紀展開競奪殖民的重心之一，這個殖民的歷史過程不但使幅員廣大的拉丁美洲具備一些共通性，同時也開啟歐洲人對於異文化的研究興趣。本課程將從殖民歷史對於拉丁美洲的重要影響—自然資源與勞動力剝削、商業資本主義、種族與族群政治、父權體制與性別建構、宗教層面的綜攝主義等主題出發；接著進入拉丁美洲區域民族誌曾提供社會科學辯論素材的重要概念，例如貧窮、鄉民研究、發展等；最後觸及拉丁美洲近代歷史中，人類學者關注的研究對象所面臨的重要議題，如國家暴力與轉型正義、新自由主義、自然資源開採與原住民運動、跨國移工等議題。 |

1.透過人類學的民族誌作品來認識拉丁美洲
2.鼓勵同學接觸拉丁美洲時事，並與民族誌觀點互相對照
3.初步掌握拉丁美洲民族誌所呈現的區域觀點，而能與其他區域民族誌有所對照 |

課程要求 |
1.修課同學分組報告指定閱讀內容
2.修課同學分組(與報告組別不同)，搜尋與當週指定閱讀主題相關之拉美新聞，於課堂分享
3.負責報告指定閱讀者，請在課堂報告後兩週內，繳交書面摘要
4.負責新聞分享者，請在分享結束兩週內，繳交書面新聞評析，嘗試以課堂閱讀的民族誌觀點，分析拉美時事 |
